Living in such a close prFour Fat Girls In Bikinisoximity to Atlantic City, I have learned to accept certain fashion “choices.” Yesterday I went to the sleek new H20 Pool and Lounge at the newly renovated Golden Nugget, formerly the Trump Marina. For lack of a better word, my friends and I were HORRIFIED by some of the bathing suit / bikini choices made by a portion of the poolside population. I have come to the realizations of:

A. These women do not have mirrors and/or someone in her home to tell her what she looks like and if she is asking someone they are totally lying.

B. These women are completely comfortable dressing in dental floss when body type is not fit. (If this is the case, more power to them…I am envious.)

C. These women are simply uneducated on what type of bathing suit should be worn for her body type.

I am going to stick with option C and today is the day to pick a bathing suit for your body type. We all have our flaws and it is important to flaunt and embellish your ASSetts.

Ruffled ONeill Floral Bikini TopI have very simple advice. If you are small on top, the best way to enhance the bust is to wear a fringed or ruffled bikini top. I like to mix and match my bikini’s, so if you want to take emphasis away or toward one area, try wearing a striking top with a boring bottom and vice-verse. Most people will notice the eye-catching part of the suit. If you have a great booty, then FLAUNT IT! Wear a printed, jeweled,or skimpy bottom. The same works for a larger bust; go with a deep V for a sexy look. Deep V black and pink V bra-style top with under-wire to keep “the ladies” in place.

If you have a bit of a belly PLEASE wear a tankini or a one-piece that is going to give you more of an hour-glass image. A suit with a belt or an empire waist is always a flattering look.  This one piece or tank top bathing suit will ELONGATE the body and accentuate curves. For the ladies with some extra “junk in the trunk,” boy short style bottoms and black hues are an excellent choice.

A few other things to keep in mind are to maybe use a self tanner. Anyone tan always looks more in shape than they actually are. Also, ALWAYS bring a cute sarong or cover up just in case the situation calls for wearing a little more clothing (or you start to feel uncomfortable when size 0′s start to flock). Remember, keep it classy and “Dress Like The Star You Are.”
